Before this generation got itself involved with the deeply satisfying art of memes, a way to get a quick punch of humor was comics. Combining illustrations with quick wit, comics have evolved digitally.
In its new form, the quality of LOLs never diminishes. In this hectic life, sometimes all we need is just a quick laugh to prove that we are still humans and not robots that are programmed to work.
These five comic artists remind us of the humor of life and prove that when life gives you lemons, you give those lemons life.

Adorable blue and pink characters that are all too relatable. Filled with ironic self-love and curated for millennial Pinoy humor, there's no denying that JanJan comics have gained some well-deserved popularity.
2. Ketnipz by Harry Hambley | @ketnipz
Made by an 18-year-old UK based artist, this simple but fun comic revolves around a pink bean-shaped character. But don't belittle its cuteness; the simple puns tackle self-love and social acceptance encouragement.
3. Grickenfish by Jess Guanco | @grickenfish
Describing herself as an internet ghost, Jess illustrates comic versions of herself from the past, in real-time, and as a ghost. Jess is such a relatable character that makes us question if she is us.
4. Webcomic Name by Alex Norris | @dorrismccomics
A comic about the unfortunate events of life, Webcomic features blobs that go through basic life mishaps. It's like laughing at your misfortunes, it usually ends with an "oh no.‟
5. Honey Dill by Ryan Harby | @iamhoneydill
Random jokes turned into comics. Honey Dill doesn't have permanent characters but it does
have a series like me vs. me or funny illustrations of lists. Honey Dill is an unpredictable comic that has no bounds.
